2pkDry yeast, dissolved in...
1cWater
1 Egg
4tbSugar
1tsSalt
1/2cCooled melted margarine
3 1/2cFlour

Add egg, sugar, and salt to yeast mixture as well as margarine. Stir in flour and beat well with a wooden spoon. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk. Then roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut in diamond shaped pieces with cookie cutter, dip in melted margarine and arrange in a tube pan. Let rise again until double. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.
