Categories: Pasta Fish Main
Yield: 6 Servings

1 Text

Surimi is made from inexpensive white ocean fish, but it looks and tastes like costly shellfish: crab, lobster or shrimp.

Cook 16 oz bow-tie pasta following package directions. Cook 4 cloves chopped garlic, 3 sliced green onions in 1 tb oil in nonstick skillet for 5 minutes. Add 2 c heavy cream. Mix 3 tb flour and 1/4 c in a small bowl. Stir into skillet. Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes. Add 1/4 ts salt, 1/8 ts pepper, 2 tb grated Parmesan, 2 tb chopped parsley, and 3/4 lb surimi, pulled apart. Toss with pasta.
