1/4 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | lb | Penne rigate |
1 | tb | Butter |
pn | Grated nutmeg | |
Freshly ground black pepper 4 turns of the pepper mill | ||
2 | oz | Grated Parmesan or Gruyere cheese |
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the salt and penne. Bring to a boil again, stirring. Cook for about 12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente. Drain.
Transfer the pasta to a saucepan. Add the butter, nutmeg, pepper, and cheese. Mix well and transfer to a serving platter.
