Soak pinecones 2 minutes and allow to dry.

GREEN FLAMES: 1 lb. boric acid to 1 gallon water BLUE FLAMES: 1 lb. copper sulfate to 1 gallon water RED FLAMES: 1 lb. strontium nitre to 1 gallon water

Add a few to the logs in your fire for the colors listed.

Note: My mom started making these around 1950. Neat. Really work.
