Title: Chocolate Cream Torte

Yield: 1 Torte

8 Egg whites
1tsAlmond extract
1/2tsCream of tartar
1/2tsSalt
2/3cSugar
3/4cAll-purpose flour
1/3cSugar
1/2cFlaked coconut (sister says to use ground walnuts)
1cChocolate chips
1cMini-marshmallows
2/3cEvaporated milk
1cHeavy cream, whipped

Beat first four ingredients to soft peaks. Add sugar gradually and beat to stiff peaks. Fold in flour, coconut, and sugar. Spread on greased and floured cookie sheets to make three 8" circles and one approx. 2" circle. Bake at 300 for 25-30 min. Remove from sheets immediately. Cool.

Mix chocolate, marshmallows, and milk in top of double boiler. Heat until melted. Chill. Fold in whipped cream.

Stack large layers, spreading filling between them and over the top. Cap with small layer. Chill 6-8 hr.
