Title: "Hands On" Cookies

Yield: 1 Servings
| 3 | c | Brown sugar |
| 3 | c | Margarine or butter |
| 6 | c | Oatmeal |
| 1 | tb | Baking soda |
| 3 | c | Flour |
Place all of the ingredients in a bowl. Let the children use clean child-sized wooden hammers to mash and knead. Form into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Butter the bottom of the glass.Dip the bottom of the glass into a saucer with sugar. Use the glass to flatten the balls. Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 15 dozen.
