2 | c | Pumpkin; mashed and cooked OR- |
16 | oz | Can pumpkin |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
2 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
3/4 | ts | Ground nutmeg |
1/4 | ts | Ground cloves |
3 | Eggs; slightly beaten | |
1/2 | c | Whipping cream * |
1/2 | c | Milk |
1 | Unbaked 9-inch pastry shell |
: Combine pumpkin, sugar, spice, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Blend in eggs, cream, and milk. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400 F degrees till knife inserted off-center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. Cool. Filling may crack.
