Title: Apricot Kernel Scrub
Categories: Cleanser *
Yield: 2 Ounces

5 To 6 apricot pits

You can also use peach and nectarine pits in this recipe.

Was and dry the apricot pits. Place the pits inside a clean plastic bag. Gently crack open the pits by hammering them on a hard surface. Inside the tough outer shell is an almond-shaped kernel. Carefully remove the outer shell and discard. Continue to pound the apricot kernels until you have a nice scrubbing powder the consistency of ground coffee.

Store the kernels in clean container. It does not have to be airtight, as they will continue to dry.

Use the apricot kernel scrub alone or mixed with your favorite soap or cleansing cream.
