Title: Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 | c | Butter |
2 | tb | Butter |
1/2 | c | Peanut butter |
2 | tb | Peanut butter |
3/4 | c | Firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 | c | Granulated sugar |
1 | Egg | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 1/2 | c | All-purpose flour |
1 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | ts | Salt (opt) |
3 | c | Old-fashioned oats, uncooked |
1 | pk | Semisweet chocolate chips (12 oz) |
1. Heat oven to 375'F. Beat butters and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10-11 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cool, store tightly covered.
Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies.
