Title: Barbecued Ribs

6 | lb | Spareribs** |
1/2 | ts | Garlic salt |
1 | tb | Brown sugar |
1 | tb | Chili powder |
1/4 | c | Vinegar |
1 | tb | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | cn | Tomato sauce (16 oz) |
* cut spaceribs lengthwise first, then crosswise thorugh bone into serving pieces.
1. Place ribs in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a full boil. Lower heat and let simmer for 30 minutes. Drain. Pat dry.
2. Place ribs on grill ribs ends down, as high as possible from glowing ash-covered coals. Broil for about 1 hour, turning frequently, or until crisp and evenly browned.
3. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and heat on edge of grill. Brush ribs with mixture frequently during last 20 minutes of cooking.
4. Spoon some of the leftover sauce over ribs when serving.
