Title: Apple Crisp

4 | c | Apples, peeled, cored,sliced |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
2 | tb | Butter or margarine |
3/4 | c | Rolled oats |
2 | tb | Brown sugar |
2 | tb | Chopped nuts |
1/4 | ts | Cinnamon |
Substitute peaches or pears when they are in season.
Place apples in a microwave baking pan and sprinkle with lemon juice. In a small bowl, melt butter at High for 30 to 45 sec. Stire in rolled oats, brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Combine well. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
Microwave at High for 8-10 min. Allow 5 to 7 min aftercooking time.
8 Servings each 1/2 cup 1 fruit choice, 1 fat choice 10 g carbohydrate, 1 g protein, 5 g fat, 89 calories
