1/4 | c | Olive Oil |
5 | Chopped Garlic Cloves | |
1 | lb | Bay Or Sea Scallops |
3/4 | c | Slivered Red Peppers |
3/4 | c | Slivered Green Peppers |
1/2 | c | Chopped Onion |
1/2 | ts | Tabasco Pepper Sauce |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
2 | tb | Drained Capers |
Slivers of red and green bell peppers give this quickly prepared dish vibrant color, and the garlic, Tabasco sauce and capers provide lots of flavor. ~------------------------------------------------------------------------- In a large skillet, heat the oil and add the garlic. Cook until golden, about 1 minute. Add the scallops, peppers, onion, Tabasco sauce and salt. Stirring constantly, cook for 5 minutes, or until the scallops turn white and the vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in the capers and serve immediately.
