1cShortening
1cBrown sugar
1cGranulated sugar
2 Eggs
1tsVanilla
1 1/2cSifted all-purpose flour
1tsBaking powder
1/2tsSoda
1/2tsSalt
2cQuick-cook rolled oats
1cCoconut
1cGumdrops; cut small pieces

Thoroughly cream shortening and sugars; add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375-degrees about 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen.
