1 | Three inch vanilla bean -OR- | |
2 | tb | Extract with extra 1/2 c flour |
1/2 | c | Vanilla yogurt |

Break egg into measuring cup, add water to 2/3 cup level, add vanilla extract (or split and scrape bean seeds into liquids). Add ingredients in order suggested by your machine, yogurt with liquids and nuts with flour. Process in dough cycle.
When dough is complete, remove to lightly floured surface, knead in extra flour if needed to make it easy to handle. Divide into 6 equal pieces, roll each to 12" and braid into 2 loaves. Pinch ends to seal, place on greased cookie sheet and let rise until double. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes, or until done. Cool on wire rack, drizzle with frosting if desired.
FROSTING: Combine 1 c powdered sugar, 1 to 2 Tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract (or all extract plus 1 tsp oil).
