2 | c | Chopped carrots |
2 | c | Chopped celery |
3 | Onions, cut up | |
3 | tb | Tapioca |
1 | tb | Sugar |
1 | cn | Tomatoes (28 oz size) |
1 | c | Diced potatoes |
2 | Bay leaves | |
1/2 | c | Frozen peas |
1 | tb | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Pepper |
3/4 | c | Hot water |
Combine all ingredients into heavy cookware. Bake covered at 250 degrees F for five hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with dumplings or boiled potatoes or buttered noodles.
