Title: Beef Paprika

2 | lb | Beef for stew |
1/2 | lb | Onions |
1 | tb | Butter |
2 | Garlic cloves | |
3 | c | Beef broth |
1/2 | ts | Marjoram |
1/2 | ts | Caraway seeds |
Brown sugar | ||
2 | ts | Paprika |
Salt and pepper | ||
2 | tb | Cornstarch |
Cube the beef. Peel and slice the onions and put them in a casserole dish with the butter. Heat on HIGH for 3-5 minutes. Add the beef, peeled and crushed garlic, broth, marjoram, caraway seeds, pinch of brown sugar, paprika and seasoning. Put a small plate on top of the meat to keep it inder the juices and cover the casserole with a lid. Cook on HIGH for 10 minutes, then simmer for 75 minutes. Remove the cover and plate.
