2 | tb | Bacon drippings |
2 | c | Okra, sliced |
2 | c | Corn, fresh |
4 | lg | Tomatoes, diced |
1 | c | Water |
Salt and pepper | ||
1/8 | ts | Sugar |
In a skillet heat bacon drippings, add fresh okra and corn, saute for a few minutes until tender crisp. Add tomatoes (diced) and water, salt and pepper to taste. Add sugar and simmer for about 1 hour on very low heat. Randy Rigg
