1 | tb | Margarine |
1/2 | ts | Cornstarch |
1/8 | ts | Ground ginger |
1/8 | ts | Salt |
1/8 | ts | Pepper |
1 | cn | 8-1/4 oz sliced beets, |
Drained | ||
1 | ts | Golden raisins |
Strips of orange peel |
In a saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir orange juice, brown sugar, margarine, cornstarch, ginger, salt and pepper until thick. Add the beets and raisins, heat through. Garnish with orange peel.
