Title: Golden Shrimp Casserole

5 | sl | Bread; cut in 1/2" cubes |
1/4 | c | Butter (or marg.); melted |
1/2 | c | Mushrooms; sliced |
2 | c | Shrimp; peeld,cookd,deveined |
2 | c | American cheese; shredded |
3 | Eggs; beaten | |
2 | c | Milk |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
ds | Black pepper | |
ds | Paprika |
Brown bread cubes in butter; remove from skillet and set aside. Cook mushrooms in butter for about 10 minutes. In a buttered 1-1/2quart casserole dish, alternate layers of bread cubes, mushrooms, shrimp, and cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over layers. Place casserole dish in a pan of hot water, and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
