Title: Southern Country Gravy

1 | c | Onions; diced |
3/4 | ts | Garlic; minced |
3 | tb | Oil (use the oil from frying the tofu) |
1/4 | c | Breading mixture left over from the main recipe; or unbleach |
1 1/2 | ts | Yeast; smoked |
5 | ts | Vogue vegy base |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/8 | ts | Black pepper |
1 | c | ; water |
Saute the onions and garlic in the oil for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the breading mixture, yeast, soup base, salt and pepper and cook 3 to 4 minutes longer. Add half of the water, whisking it into the onion and flour mixture. When it thickens, add the remaining water, whisking to a light consistency.
