1cOnions; diced
3/4tsGarlic; minced
3tbOil (use the oil from frying the tofu)
1/4cBreading mixture left over from the main recipe; or unbleach
1 1/2tsYeast; smoked
5tsVogue vegy base
1/2tsSalt
1/8tsBlack pepper
1c; water

Saute the onions and garlic in the oil for 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the breading mixture, yeast, soup base, salt and pepper and cook 3 to 4 minutes longer. Add half of the water, whisking it into the onion and flour mixture. When it thickens, add the remaining water, whisking to a light consistency.
