Title: Cranberry Fruit Bread

2cSifted flour
1/2cSugar
1tsBaking powder
1/2tsSalt
1cRaisins
1tsSoda
1/2cNuts- coarsely chopped
1 Egg, beaten
1tsVanilla
2tbMelted shortening
1cCrushed pineapple(undrained)

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into bowl. Add raisins and nuts. Combine egg, vanilla and shortening. Add to mixture. Dissolve soda in pineapple, and add. Stir just until blended. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hour, or until done. Cool on rack. Serve buttered or with cream cheese.
