2 | tb | Carrot, diced |
2 | tb | Onion, diced |
2 | tb | Tomato puree |
1/2 | | Garlic clove |
| | Thyme leaves, dash |
1 | tb | Flour |
2 | tb | Celery, diced |
1 | c | Beef broth (fat skimmed) |
1 | | Bay leaf |
| | Pepper, dash |
Melt margarine. Add flour and cook for 3 minutes. Add vegetables and cook
for 5 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from heat and stir in broth.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.
Remove bay leaf and process in blender until smooth.
