1 | ts | Almond extract |
2 | c | Sifted flour |
48 | Tart shells or muffin cups | |
1/2 | c | Margarine |
1/3 | c | Karo dark corn syrup |
1 | c | Confectioner's sugar |
1 | c | Chopped pecans |
48 | Pecan halves |
Mix 1/2 c margarine and sugar. Stir in egg yolks, almond extract, and flour. Press evenly into tart shells. Bake at 400 F 8 to 10 minutes.
Mix margarine, Karo syrup, and confectioner's sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in chopped pecans. Spoon into shells and top with pecan halves. Bake at 350 F 5 minutes.
