Title: Green Beans with Sugared Walnuts

Yield: 4 Servings
2 | tb | Butter |
1 | c | Chopped walnuts |
1 | tb | Sugar |
2 | lb | Fresh string beans, trimmed |
Melt butter in heavy skillet and add walnuts. Lightly brown, add sugar and mix well. Cook for 3 minutes on medium heat. Set aside. Place green beans in large pot with enough water to cover; bring to a boil. Cook until bright green, but still slightly crunchy. Drain and add to the walnut mixture. Mix well.
Makes 8 servings.
