1lbSausage
2cRice; instant, uncooked
1/2cBell peppers; chopped
1/2cOnions, chopped
16ozTomatoes; canned
4ozMushrooms, sliced
1tsSalt
1/4tsPepper
1/4tsBasil leaves

1. Brown sausage links in a skillet; remove sausage and set aside. 2. Add rice to drippings; cook 5 minutes, or until rice is golden. 3. Add green pepper and onion; cook until tender. 4. Pour off drippings; add tomatoes, mushrooms, salt, pepper and basil to rice mixture. 5. Pour mixture into a 2-quart casserole; arrange sausage links over rice. 6. Bake in preheated 350'F. oven 45 minutes. 7. Remove cover; continue baking 10 minutes longer.
