1/4 | c | Oil |
3 | lb | Rump roast |
2 | c | Onions, sliced |
1/4 | c | Flour |
2 | tb | Salt |
2 | tb | Sugar |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
2 | ts | Dry mustard |
1/2 | ts | Celery seed |
1/4 | c | Water |
16 | oz | Tomatoes |
Preheat oven to 325 F. Melt oil in Dutch oven. Add meat and brown on all sides. Place onions on top of meat. Mix flour and seasonings with water. Blend with tomatoes and add mixture to Dutch oven. Bake about 2 hours, until meat is fork-tender.
