Title: Peach Aspic with Cream Cheese Dressing

29 | oz | Peaches, canned |
6 | oz | Gelatin, peach |
1 1/2 | c | Water; boiling |
1 | c | Juice, orange |
1/2 | ts | Lemon peel, grated |
3 | tb | Juice, lemon |
1 1/2 | c | -peach puree |
2 | tb | Sugar |
DRESSING | ||
8 | oz | Cream cheese; softened |
3 | tb | Mayonnaise |
1 | tb | Sugar |
1/2 | c | -peach puree |
Drain and puree the peaches to use in remainder of recipe.
In mixing bowl, combine peach gelatin and boiling water; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in orange juice, lemon peel and juice, peach puree, and sugar. Pour into lightly oiled 1-1/2-quart ring mold and child 4-6 hours, until set.
In small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, maynnaise, sugar, and peach puree. Beat until smooth. Remove aspic from mold to serving platter; serve with dressing.
