Title: Mexican Filled Tostadas

12 Crisp fried tortillas corn or flour
1lbGround beef
2 Cloves garlic; minced
2tbVegetable oil
3tbFlour
2tbChile powder (or to taste)
1tsSalt
1/4tsPepper
2cWater
3mdOnions; chopped
2lgTomatoes; chopped
1cShredded sharp cheese

Brown beef and garlic in hot oil. Sprinkle with flour, chile powder, salt and pepper. Add water; bring to boil. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes. Warm tortillas in 300 degree F oven. Dived beef mixture to fill tortillas. Top with onion, tomatoes and shredded cheese. Serves 4.
