1 | lb | Ground beef |
1 | lg | Onion; chopped |
1 | c | (28 oz) tomatoes; chopped, liquid reserved |
1 | c | (6 oz) tomato paste |
2 | tb | Vinegar |
1 | tb | Chili powder |
1 | ts | Garlic powder |
1/4 | ts | Dried crushed red pepper (optional) |
10 | c | Cabbage; shredded |
In a large kettle, brown sausage, beef and onion; drain off fat. Add
remaining ingredients except cabbage; mix well. Stir in cabbage and simmer
15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Yield: 10 to
12 servings.
