Title: Sardine Factory Fettuccine Alfredo

8qtWater
1tbSalt
1lbFresh fettuccine
1/4lbButter
1 Egg yolk
1/4cHeavy cream
1/2cFresh grated Parmesan cheese
  Salt & Pepper to taste

In a large pot bring 8 quarts water to a boil; add salt. Very gently drop in the fettuccine. Stir with a wooden spoon for a few moments to separate noodles. Cook at a gentle boil for only a few minutes until al dente. Pour fettuccine into a colander to drain, and then into a large heated serving bowl.

Cream butter until fluffy; add egg yolk and cream and beat constantly while adding cheese a tablespoon at a time. Add cheese mixture to fettuccine and season as desired with salt and pepper. Toss very gently.
