Title: Picnic Green Peas with Sour Cream

30 | oz | Frozen peas |
1/4 | c | Cooking liquid from peas |
1/3 | c | Salad oil |
2 2/3 | tb | Red wine vinegar |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
1 | tb | Minced fresh mint |
1/2 | c | Finely diced celery |
1/4 | c | Sour cream |
Lettuce | ||
Tomato Wedges |
Cook frozen peas, drain and reserve 1/4 cup cooking liquid. Add the salad oil, vinegar, salt and mint to reserved liquid, pour over peas.
Cover and chill for at least six hours.
Just before serving, stir in celery and sour cream.
Serve in lettuce lined bowl, bordered with tomato wedges.
