Title: Apple Crunch Coffee Cake

2/3 | c | Milk |
3 | tb | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
2 | c | Apples:thinly sliced & pared |
2 | tb | Nuts; chopped |
Topping----- | ||
2/3 | c | Bisquick |
2/3 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
1/2 | ts | Nutmeg |
1/4 | c | Margarine; ----glaze----- |
1/2 | c | Powdered sugar |
2 | tb | Milk; to 3 t milk |
Heat oven to 400. Grease 9 x 9 square pan. Mix baking mix, milk, sugar and egg; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spread half of the batter in pan. Arrange apple slices on batter; sprinkle with half of the topping. Spread remaining batter over apple slices; sprinkle with remaining topping. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake about 25 minutes, cool. Drizzle with glaze. Topping: Combine dry ingredients, then cut in margarine.
