Title: Beef Montparnasse

Yield: 6 Servings

2lbRound steak; in serv. size pieces
2tbShortening
2slBacon; crumbled
6smWhite onions
6 New potatoes peeled
2cnMushrooms; with liquid, <3
  ; oz. cans>
1/2cDry white wine
1tbMinced parsley
2tsSalt
1/2tsPepper
1 Bay leaf

Heat pressure cooker. Add shortening; brown steak. Add remaining ingredients. Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe. Cook for 15 minutes (I think maybe this was a little too long. . . either that or my pressure cooker just took to long to get up to pressure). Let pressure drop of its own accord. Remove bay leaf. Thicken gravy, if desired.
