1 1/2 | lb | Ground beef or lamb |
1 | Onion; minced | |
1/2 | ts | Cinnamon |
1 | ts | Paprika |
1 | ts | Powdered cumin |
1/2 | ts | Ground coriander |
2 | tb | Chopped parsley |
1 | ts | Oregano |
1 | tb | Zataar |
Wooden skewers dampened in lemon juice | ||
Salt and pepper; to taste | ||
2 | tb | Olive oil |
Olive oil for basting |
1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. 2. Divide mixture among skewers and shape them like sausage around skewer. 3. Baste koftas with olive oil 4, Barbecue for about 25 minutes.
