Title: Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson's Round-Up Cookies

| 1 | c | Shortening |
| 1 | c | Brown sugar |
| 1 | c | Sugar |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 2 | c | Coconut |
| 2 | c | Flour |
| 1 | ts | Baking soda |
| 1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
| 1/4 | ts | Salt |
| 1/2 | ts | Vanilla extract |
| 2 | c | Wheat-flake cereal |
Cream together shortening and sugars. Beat in eggs. Stir in coconut. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla and cereal. Roll into (1 Tbsp) balls. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
