Title: Pull-Apart Bacon Bread

Yield: 12 Servings
1 | lb | Farmland hickory smoked bacon, * see note |
1 | ts | Vegetable oil |
3/4 | c | Green onion; chopped |
3/4 | c | Onion; chopped |
3 | Tubes (7 1/2 ounces each) ref. buttermilk | |
; biscuits | ||
1/2 | c | Margarine; melted |
1/2 | c | (2 ounces) cheddar cheese; shredded |
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain; crumble and set aside. Place oil in skillet; heat over medium high heat until oil is warm. Add green pepper and onion, saute until vegetables are tender. Cut biscuits in fourths and place in large mixing bowl. Add sauteed vegetables, crisp bacon, margarine and cheese; toss until thoroughly mixed. Place in a 10- inch tube pan coated with a vegetable cooking spray. Bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes. Immediately invert onto large serving plate. Serve warm
NOTES : I could not find Farmland so I used another brand. I have also made
these in small individual small bunt like muffin tins and froze some of
