Title: Frozen Cappuccino

3 | c | Freshly brewed; strong coffee |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Half and half; or more as needed |
Garnish: ground cinnamon and freshly | ||
; whipped cream |
In a large glass measuring cup, combine the sugar and hot coffee. Stir until dissolved. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze. May be prepared in advance and stored in plastic bags in the freezer.
In a blender, combine frozen coffee cubes and half and half. Mix until thoroughly blended.
Serve garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Mocha alternative: In addition to the sugar, add unsweetened cocoa powder, to taste, to the coffee. Stir until dissolved and then freeze.
Yield: 2 servings
