Title: Honey-Lavender Biscotti

2 1/4 | c | All-purpose flour; unbleached |
1 | ts | Baking powder |
1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
2/3 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Vanilla extract |
3 | tb | Strong honey |
2 | tb | Minced zest from 1 orange |
1 | tb | Dried lavender blossoms; optional |
1. Sift first 4 ingredients together in a small bowl. 2. Whisk sugar and eggs in a large bowl to a lightly lemon color; sitr in next 3 (or 4) ingredients. Sift dry ingredients over egg mixture, then fold in until dough is just combined. 3. Follow steps 3 and 4 in Lemon-Anise Biscotti recipe.
