Meatballs | ||
1 | lb | Ground beef |
1/2 | c | Peanuts; shelled, toasted and |
Ground | ||
1/2 | Envelope cream of onion soup | |
1 | ts | Grated ginger root |
1/2 | Onion; chopped | |
1 | pn | Nutmeg |
1 | pn | Cinnamon |
Ground black pepper | ||
1 | Clove garlic; minced | |
Salt; to taste | ||
Oil; for frying | ||
Sauce | ||
1 | c | Beef stock |
1 | tb | Cornstarch |
1 | Orange; juice of | |
1 | ts | Grated fresh ginger |
Salt and pepper; to taste |
Meatballs: Mix all together. Check salt. Cook in oil.
Sauce:
Blend orange juice and starch. Stir into boiling stock along with ginger, season with salt and pepper. Stir over heat until it thickens a little. Serve over meat balls.
