Title: Marinated Tomatoes Tureul

3 | Very large tomatoes | |
1/3 | c | Olive oil |
1/4 | c | Red wine vinegar |
1/4 | c | Onion; finely chopped |
2 | tb | Capers; drained |
2 | tb | Parsley; fresh, minced |
2 | Cloves garlic; minced | |
1 | tb | Salt |
1 | tb | Dried basil |
1/4 | tb | Ground pepper |
Cut tomatoes into 1/2" thick slices, peeling is opitional. Place tomatoes in a shallow dish, and after combining all the other ingredients, stir it all together and let marinade for 3 hours before serving. Mixing the marinade the night before adds to the flavor.
