Categories: Beef Hamburger Meat
Yield: 16 Servings
5 | lb | Hamburger; drained |
8 | oz | Onion; chopped fine |
1 | c | Water |
1/2 | c | Ketchup |
3 | ts | Horseradish; heaping |
3 | ts | Mustard; heaping |
3 | ts | Worcestershire sauce |
3 | ts | Salt |
2 | ts | Pepper |
1 | ts | AccentŠ seasoning mix |
16 | Hamburger buns |
Brown hamburger and drain well. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over low to med for at least 1 hour. Adding water as needed to keep from drying. I cook it till my step-son can't fine any traces of onions (grin)
NOTES : These ARE teaspoons. The first time that I made this I thought that a teaspoons were a misprint. I won't make that mistake again. I leave out the Accent, as I have problems with it, but the recipe still tastes great either way... My sister got this recipe while in college, by going out with a guy who's mother owned a Tastee Drive-Inn. Over the years we have changed it a little. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V4 #10
