1pnSalt
1tbCornstarch
1cWater or apple juice
2tbButter
1tbVanilla
1pnNutmeg

Mix the sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add the water or apple juice. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat, until thick and clear. Add the butter, vanilla and nutmeg. Serve warm.
