Title: Chicken Pickup Sticks

1 1/2lbChicken wings
1 Egg
1tbCold water
2/3cFinely chopped toasted almonds or peanuts
2tbFlour
1/2tsSalt
1/4tsGround ginger
1/4cButter or margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 375øF. Cut off wing tips. Divide each wing in half by cutting through joint with a sharp knife. Combine egg with water. Combine almonds with flour, salt and ginger. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then roll in nut mixture to coat well. Place in a 13"x9" baking pan. Pour butter over chicken. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until deep golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.

For an entree, prepare with larger chicken pieces, increasing baking time to 55 to 65 minutes.
