3/4 | c | Water |
1 | | Egg, Lightly Beaten |
1/3 | c | Lemon Juice |
1 | ts | Lemon Rind, Grated |
2 | tb | Butter |
Stir the sugar and cornstarch in the top portion of a double boiler. Stir
in the water. Beat in the egg, lemon juice and lemon rind. Cook over - not
in - boiling water until the mixture thickens. Remove from the heat. Stir
