Title: Mickey's Chop Suey

Yield: 6 Servings
1 | lb | Round Steak |
2 | tb | Oil |
1 | c | Water |
1 | c | Celery |
1 | c | Onion |
1 | cn | Mushrooms; 6 oz. |
1/4 | c | Soy Sauce |
3 | tb | Cornstarch |
1 | cn | Chop Suey Vegetables; 28 oz. |
1 | cn | Water Chestnuts |
1 | tb | Chinese Bead Molasses |
Salt and Pepper; to taste |
Cut steak into bite size pieces. Brown in hot oil in a dutch oven. Add water, celery, onions, salt and pepper to pot. Simmer till meat is tender. Mix soy sauce and cornstarch; add to pot to thicken. Add canned veggies and molasses and heat through for a few more minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
