Title: Spiced Apple Butter

Yield: 3 Cups
3 | lb | Apples, sliced |
1 1/2 | c | Apple cider |
1 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
4 | ts | Apple pie spice |
Place apples and cider in pot over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Lower heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for about 1/2 hour. Stir in spices. Continue simmering and stirring for another 1/2 hour, or until apple slices have disintegrated and butter is thick. Remove from heat. Transfer to airtight containers, and store in fridge, or preserve them in jars.
