Title: Wheat Pilaf

Yield: 4 Servings
4 | tb | Unsalted butter |
1 | c | Fresh mushrooms (your choice as to type), sliced |
1 | sm | Onion, finely chopped |
1/2 | c | Pecans, chopped |
1 | tb | Fresh thyme leaves |
1/2 | c | Instant bulgar |
3 | c | Chicken or vegetable broth |
1/3 | c | Golden raisins |
Heat 3 Tbl. of butter in skillet over high heat; saute mushrooms, onion, pecans, and thyme until onion is translucent. Add dry bulgar and saute for an additional 2 minutes. Stir in the broth, raisins, and remaining butter. Cook for time recommended on bulgar package, or until broth is mostly absorbed. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
