1 1/4 | c | All-purpose flour; sifted |
1/4 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | c | Butter or margarine |
2/3 | c | Maple-blended syrup |
1 1/3 | c | Coconut |
1/4 | ts | Salt |

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift flour and sugar together; cut in
butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Press into an 8-inch square baking pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Combine syrup, coconut and salt in a small saucepan. Cook for about 8
minutes, or until the coconut absorbs most of the syrup. Spread over warm
crust; bake for 10 minutes longer. Cut into bars. By
