2 | c | Sugar |
1 | c | Oil |
1 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | ts | Salt |
2 | ts | Vanilla |
3 | | Eggs |
3 | c | Apples |
1 | c | Nuts, walnuts |
1/2 | c | Raisins |
| | Powdered sugar |
Preheat oven to 325. Grease well and flour 2 8" square pans (or 1 9"x13")
Chop raisins, peel and dice apples. In large bowl with mixer at low speed,
mix well first 7 ingredients, constantly scraping bowl. Beat 3 more
minutes, occasionally scraping bowl. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins.
Spread in pans. Bake 1 hour. Cool on wire racks. Place paper doily on each
cake; sprinkle with powdered sugar; remove doilies. By
