Title: Spanish Tomato Sauce

1 | tb | Butter Or Margarine |
1/4 | sm | Onion |
1/4 | sm | Green Pepper |
1/2 | sm | Garlic Clove |
16 | oz | Tomatoes; Undrained, 1 Can |
6 | oz | Tomato Paste; 1 Can |
1 | ts | Sugar |
1/2 | ts | Dried Oregano Leaves;Crushed |
1/2 | ts | Pepper |
1 | ds | Salt |
Put all of the ingredients in a blender container and blend until the onion and green pepper are finely chopped. Simmer, covered, in a saucepan for 30 minutes. Serve over meat or fish.
Makes 3 cups.
